iniko
'Iniko' means 'time to talk'. My jewelry designs emerge from my own deep personal connections to my West African culture and heritage. Where I come from, "iniko" is how women refer to the time spent communing with self, with our family and community, and with a higher power. My designs are not simply imagined, but are guided by this deeply personal ritual I have established over many years. Whether you consider it meditation or prayer - for me, I know its something larger than myself, it is divine - and it is the practice through which I find and share beauty and joy.
